Solving Fixed Mindset In Children

Solving Fixed Mindset In Children

A fixed mindset means that people believe that their basic abilities, their intelligence, and their talents are just fixed traits. It is a perception that people hold about themselves. People who have a fixed mindset often think that they are only good at certain things, and may not be able to develop new abilities.

So is it possible to solve a fixed mindset, especially in children? The answer is yes especially when it is noticed on time.

You can start by teaching them not to use certain words. For example, words like ‘cannot’ instead be replaced with ‘not yet’

Another concept is to implement the ‘I did not fail, I learned a new way not to do this.
