Dr. Tiffani Teachey, PMP is a senior project engineer with more than two decades of industry experience, a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies, and an international TEDx speaker recognized for closing the STEM gap for children and young women around the world.
Her path to authorship began in a classroom, not a bookstore. Running hands on STEM activities for kids, she asked a simple question: who has met an engineer? Almost no hands went up, not until the kids got to build, test, and tinker for themselves. Then every hand shot into the air. That moment revealed a gap Tiffani has spent her career closing: children rarely see themselves reflected in STEM, especially girls and children of color.
That realization led to What Can I Be? STEM Careers from A to Z, now published in five languages and the flagship of a growing library that includes the STEM Crew Kids Adventures series, the 10-Minute STEM Experiments collection, and Closing the STEM Gap, her book for the educators, companies, and parents building the next generation of STEM leaders.
